Mostly red and rather underestimated. Get to know the value and greatness of this region!
Beaujolais is a popular holiday wine because it's a festive crowd pleaser that pairs well with everything. Even your crazy uncle enjoys it. Stock up and celebrate – with proper social distancing, naturally. It's not all fun and games, though. Beaujolais wines from the 10 "Crus" drink more like fine Burgundy at a fraction of the cost. The grapes differ; Burgundy is Pinot Noir, while Beaujolais is Gamay. But great wine is, well, great wine.
Explore seven examples of Beaujolais ranging from simple to sublime. Six reds, one rare white; all delicious. This class will be lead by David McDuff – longtime Tria friend, wine writer and PA manager for rock star importer, Bowler Wine.
$65 per ticket. Includes seven 2-oz wine tasting portions in super-cute reusable plastic wine glasses, Tria Cheese & Snack Box, tasting mat and tasting sheet.
