Blind Tasting: The Wines of Italy

  • Tria Wash West 1137 Spruce Street Philadelphia, PA 19107 United States (map)

A suspenseful, educational, fun and delicious immersion into Italian wine!

Instructor: Lauren Harris

Italian wine, renowned for its diversity and rich history, encapsulates the essence of tradition, terroir, and taste in every sip. The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry in Italy has authorized over 350 different grape varieties, but in reality there are close to 500. A blind tasting should be a piece of cake, right?

Relax! Tria Wine Director, Lauren Harris, will lead you on this enlightening journey. You will blind taste four pairs of Italian wine (eight wines total) of red, white and sparkling treats from Italy. We will compare, contrast, and vote on our favorites. (Guaranteed to be the least stressful voting all year!) Tasty Tria snacks will be served.

Bottles will be available for sale after the class.
