Explore the world's most celebratory beverage with grower Champagne worth celebrating!
Instructor: Amber Janelle Brown of VOS Selections
Champagne, renowned as the epitome of luxury and celebration, captivates the senses with its effervescent charm and refined taste. This sparkling wine, originating from the Champagne region of France, is a symbol of pure indulgence.
Come learn about real Champagne by exploring multiple styles from Domaine Alexandre Bonnet, a producer of grower Champagne* in Les Riceys, considered the Grand Cru of the Côtes des Bar, a Champagne region that lies at the border with Burgundy. The class will be lead by our dynamic guest professor, Amber Janelle Brown. You will get the opportunity not only to deep dive into Champagne, but to explore the full breadth of a magical producer making transcendent wines.
Whether you don't know anything about Champagne other than the famous "yellow label," or you already know and adore the stuff, this session will knock your socks off and open another door into this unqiue wine region. We'll also pour a famous name-brand Champagne so you can taste the difference. Come and celebrate the wine of celebration. Cheers!
* "Grower Champagne" refers to wines from the Champagne region of France that are made and bottled by the same person who grew the grapes. This is different from wines produced by Champagne houses like Veuve Clicquot which typically blend together grapes grown by many individual grape growers from across the region.
