Orange you mistaking it for rose? Learn about this amazing ancient but newly trendy type of wine.
It's ancient, it's old school, it's strange and delicious, sometimes delicate, sometimes intense.
Celebrated by sommeliers and coveted by wine nerds, orange wine might appear trendy, but it's how wine was made hundreds of years ago. It's not red, it's not white, it's not rose - it refuses to be confined to any of those categories - it's for sure its own thing.
We'll dig into the history, learn how orange wine is produced, and taste through different styles coming from regions as varied as Italy, Georgia (the nation, not the new swing state), South Africa, and the United States. Orange you excited about exploring this whole new-old world of wine?
This class will be lead by Tria Wine Director, Lauren Harris.
