Journey along with us as we demystify the concept of terroir through the legendary music of the Rolling Stones!
Instructor: Amber Janelle Brown
You asked, and we listened Tria. Get ready to rock! We are back with our second installation of our artist series, and this time we are exploring terroir with the Rolling Stones.
Formed in 1962 in London, The Rolling Stones are one of the most influential rock bands in history. They emerged during the British Invasion, alongside bands like The Beatles, but carved out a distinct identity with their blues-influenced sound and rebellious image. It is our pleasure to combine an evening of musical history with wines that are equal parts rock and roll.
During Some Wines, we will look at six different wines (two whites, one orange, and three reds) with the hopes of demystifying the concept of terroir – a French term that refers to the unique set of environmental factors that affect wine production, specifically encompassing the climate, soil, topography, and local practices that contribute to the flavor and quality of a wine.
The evening promises to be one where you CAN get some satisfaction, though moves like Jagger are not guaranteed. Come with an open mind and palate. As always tasty Tria snacks will be served and we encourage you to join us for Tria's Happier Hour, from 4 to 6 pm before class!
Bottles will be available for sale after the class.
