Italian Reds for Springtime Pleasure

Springtime Italy.jpeg

No other wine region produces more reds that are fair weather friends (in a good way) than Italy does. The proof is in the quaffing.

Instructor: Tess Drumheller

Springtime approaches, and we sure as heck deserve it. We always deserve great wine, but who wants to drink big, bold reds when the temperatures start to soar? For reds that can take the heat, we suggest a visit to Italy, a nation bursting with gulpable, chillable, light and bright reds that won't weigh you down. Our tour will include stops in Piedmont, Sicily, Sardinia and Puglia.

Tess Drumheller is a wine specialist at PortoVino, a super-cool importer of terroir-driven Italian wines based in both Buffalo, New York and Florence Italy. This is Tess's first class at Tria and we can hardly wait!
