Spanish Stars

Spanish Stars.jpeg

Tria's Lauren Harris will explore the wildly diverse wines of Spain. You cannot not like Spanish wine unless you don't like wine.

Instructor: Lauren Harris, Tria's Wine and Fermentation School Director

One cannot not like Spanish wine because Spain has it all. Take winemaking style. Some producers maintain centuries-old winemaking traditions; Spain is an “Old World” wine region. Many younger winemakers, however, are innovators, taking Spanish wine in exciting new directions. Don’t forget Mother Nature; climate helps determine what you taste in the glass and Spain is a climactic collage ranging from cool ocean breezes in the Northwest to desert-like conditions in the South. Every style of wine is produced in the country with the greatest vineyard acreage on Earth. Join Lauren on this tour of dramatically diverse wines and you’ll fall in love – with at least some of them!
