Loire Valley Picnic

Loire Valley Picnic.jpeg

Grab a picnic basket and blanket to join Lauren Harris, Tria's Wine Director, for a guided tour through the "Garden of France."

Instructor: Lauren Harris

The Loire Valley wine region encompasses a 600-mile stretch of the Loire River dotted with farmland, quaint towns, and fairytale châteaux. Famed for dry whites, such as Sancerre, Pouilly Fumé, Vouvray and Muscadet, this wildly diverse wine region also boasts stunning reds and lands right behind Champagne in sparking production. Loire wines are the perfect food companion with moderate alcohol, refreshing acidity, lean minerality, and pure varietal expressions unmasked by oak. They are also an excellent value. Life IS a picnic when you’re enjoying wines of the Loire Valley.
